About Us
Southside Christian Church is a church with a known history of reaching out to the local community with events and ministries for families and locals with the goal of showing God’s Love and Grace to anyone in attendance. Over the past decade, Southside experienced, unfortunately, a major decline in their Sunday morning attendance. With only a few dozen members left in the church, the church board voted to donate the church building and 20 acre property to Covenant Christian School. The agreement would give Southside Christian Church use of the remodeled building for our Sunday morning gathering indefinitely. Currently Southside Christian Church meets off site at 4000 E. Moores Creek Rd in Bloomington, IN while the building is being remodeled.
Southside Church meets at 10 am on Sunday with the purpose of praying for one another, worshipping the One True God, Breaking of Bread in the Holy Communion, hearing God’s Word preached in clear and unapologetic method delivery.
